MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

GETZENDANNER, District Judge:

James R. Bachman has filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus with this court alleging therein that he is being held in state prison in violation of the Constitution. Specifically, Bachman claims he was denied due process at his trial because his plea of guilty was involuntarily elicited, because his sentence was imposed in violation of his fifth amendment privilege against self-incrimination, and because he did not receive effective assistance of counsel.
