OPINION

SOSA, Senior Justice.

Plaintiff-appellant, Ramon Mares (Mares), appeals the judgment of the district court in favor of defendant-appellee, Santa Fe Public Schools (School Board). For the reasons stated below, we affirm.

FACTS

On September 22, 1983, Mares filed a complaint with the New Mexico Human Rights Commission (HRC), alleging that he had been fired (May 11,1983) by the School' Board because of his age (50).
