In a negligence action to recover damages for personal injuries and for wrongful death, the defendants Ralph Griffo and Manhattan & Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (I. Aronin, J.), entered November 29, 1988, which, upon a jury verdict finding them 85% at fault in the happening of the accident and the plaintiff’s decedent 15% at fault in the happening of the accident, and findings that the plaintiff’s decedent suffered damages in the amount of $100,000 for conscious pain and suffering, and that the plaintiff sustained damages…
