On April 23, 1925, J. W. Sample, representing himself and others, purchased certain property from Lake Marian Groves Corporation. In this transaction Sample executed certain notes and a mortgage to secure the same. In this case we are dealing with the fifth note of the series which was for the sum of $16,212.17, dated April 23, 1925, and due March 31, 1929, with 6% interest from date.
