This appeal arises from a suit initiated by the plaintiff-appellee, St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital against the City of Chicago, the County of Cook, and David L. Daniel, as Director of the Cook County Department of Public Aid, to recover a hospital bill incurred on the treatment of one Frank Koniewicz, now deceased.
