This case involves the validity of defendant’s regulations classifying students as residents or nonresidents for differential tuition purposes. Plaintiffs initiated this class action suit challenging the constitutional basis of said regulations. On December 1, 1972, the Washtenaw Cir cuit Court entered an order recognizing this case as a proper class action under GCR 1963, 208.1.
