This appeal arises out of the extensively litigated bankruptcy of Ken Mizuno, a Japanese land developer who defrauded thousands of Japanese investors in a golf course and country club development, and used some of the money to pay gambling debts and make preferential transfers in the United States. Mirage Resorts, Inc., Mirage Hotel-Casino, and Golden Nugget Casino, Inc.
