Cross appeals from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Reilly, Jr., J.), ordering, inter alia, equitable distribution of the parties’ marital property, entered June 15, 1998 in Saratoga County, upon a decision of the court.
The parties to this action were married for approximately 27 years when plaintiff commenced this action for divorce in October 1996. At that time, plaintiff was 48 years old and defendant was 47 years old and their two children were emancipated.
