On August 1st, 1892, Taylor County, through-and by the authority of its judge and justices of the peace, composing the county court, executed the following note—

“On the 1st day of January, 1893, the County of Taylor through W. R. T. McFarland, presiding judge of Taylor County, by and with the concurrence of the justices of the peace of said county, and in pursuance of an act of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, approved February 14, 1888, promises and agrees to pay, and obligates and binds itself as a county through its duly…
