MEMORANDUM OF DECISION AND ORDER

SPATT, District Judge.

Eddie Ricketts (“Ricketts”) petitions for a writ of habeas corpus from his 1996 conviction in state court, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. For the reasons stated below, Rickett’s petition is denied.

On October 27, 1995, Loreen White walked to work on Park Avenue, in Union-dale, New York. Ricketts and his co-defendant, Ricardo Ricketts (“Ricardo”), approached Ms. White with a gun drawn and demanded money.
