MCCRODDEN, Judge.
On 13 November 1992, Cornelia Whitley, daughter of defendant in the instant case, pleaded guilty to the murder of Lisa D. Crews. Whitley and Crews had been involved in a relationship for a period of eight years prior to the murder. The two women shared the parenting responsibilities of Crews’s two-year-old son, Joshua Michael Bradley. On 16 November 1992, defendant entered a plea of guilty to the charge of accessory after the fact, admitting the allegation in the indictment that, following the murder, she helped her daughter dispose of Crews’s body.
