This appeal presents the question of whether hospital in-patient chemotherapy treatment of an undocumented alien who has been diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia constitutes treatment for an emergency medical condition so as to entitle the hospital to receive medicaid reimbursement for the cost of the treatment.
