— Appellee brought an action against appellants to recover on a bond executed by Edmund S. Petro, as principal, and said appellants, as sureties. The School City of Muncie on May 16, 1908, let a contract to said Petro for the improvement of a school building in said city, and the bond in question was executed for the purpose of securing the proper performance of said contract. Appellee was at the time a corporation engaged in the retail lumber business, and, as such, furnished material to said contractor, which *350material was used in making repairs on said school building, and this action was…
