In August, 1928, the Peter Barmann Brewing Company executed and delivered to the Kingston Trust Company, for a valuable consideration, its bond in the sum of $25,000, secured by a mortgage on premises owned by the brewing company. On October 14, 1932, the Kingston Trust Company assigned the bond and mortgage to one Morris A. Bdehnan, and on October 26, 1932, Bdehnan assigned the bond and mortgage to the defendant Cascade Holding Corporation. In October, 1934, the brewing company was adjudicated a bankrupt, and the plaintiffs were appointed trustees in bankruptcy. In September, 1934, the…
