On September 24, 2009, Plaintiff Brett McClafferty (Plaintiff or McClafferty) filed a complaint (Doc. No. 1) against Defendants Portage County Board of Elections (Board) and City of Streetsboro (City) (collectively Defendants), along with a motion seeking a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction (Doc. No. 2). The Court conducted a telephonic status conference with counsel for the parties shortly after the lawsuit was filed.
