This appeal challenges the sufficiency of the evidence to support the jury findings on two affirmative defenses to a conversion suit 1 . The Appellant, Cecil Pond Construction Company, (“Pond Construction”), sued Appellees, Ed Bell Investments, Inc. (“Bell Investments”) and Federal Insurance Company (“Federal”) for Bell Investment’s taking the proceeds of certain checks owed to Pond Construction.
