City of Athens v. Warthman

This is an appeal on questions of law from a judgment of the Common Pleas Court of Athens County vacating a prior order of the court allowing interest to the landowners, appellants herein, upon an award in favor of appellants in an urban renewal appropriation proceeding.

The verdict of the jury, in the sum of $40,000, was returned on February 28, 1968, and journalized on March 5, 1968. No deposit of the award was made by the city of Athens, appellee herein, because an appeal was instituted to this court by the city of Athens.
