State Bank of Lake Zurich v. Winnetka Bank

Plaintiff, State Bank of Lake Zurich (State Bank), initiated this action to foreclose its mortgage on certain real property located in North Barrington, Illinois. Numerous contractors were joined as defendants, who in turn filed counterclaims to foreclose their mechanic’s liens on the property. Theodore Brickman Company (Brickman), Ewing-Doherty Mechanical, Inc. (Ewing), and Spancrete of Illinois (Spancrete) are the only such defendants involved in this appeal.
