Benham, Justice.
Appellant John Levi Brooks was convicted of malice murder and kidnapping with bodily injury in connection with the death of 27-year-old Telma Morris in November 2002. On appeal, he challenges the sufficiency of the evidence and the admission of certain evidence and certain testimony, and asserts he was denied the effective assistance of trial counsel. After reviewing the record in light of appellant’s contentions, we affirm the judgment of conviction.
