CAMPBELL, District Judge.
In Act Cong. June 28, 1898, c. 517, 30 Stat. 495, entitled “An act for the protection of the people of Indian Territory and for other purposes,” there was incorporated the agreement made by the Commission to the Five Civilized Tribes with commissioners representing the Choctaw and Chickasaw Tribes of Indians on the 23d day of April, 1897. This agreement was ratified and confirmed by this act, and, subject to its subsequent ratification by the tribes, was to be in full force and effect.
