Ekwall, Judge:

This case involves the rate at which Shanghai yuan dollars in which certain imported merchandise was invoiced should be converted into United States dollars under section 522 (c) of the Tariff Act-'of 1930. There is no dispute but that the exchange value, as represented by the buying-rate in the New York market at noon on the day of exportation as defined in said section 522 (c), is applicable in this case, the only question being the date of exportation.
