On October 7, 2014, a jury found defendant/appellant, Victor Salgado, guilty of escape, 18 Pa.C.S. § 5121(a), the only crime with which he was charged in the criminal information. On October 9, 2014,1 sentenced appellant to state confinement for a *517period of not less than fifteen months to not more than thirty-six months.
