NAHMIAS, Justice.

At a trial in March 2011, the jury found Martina Hamilton guilty of felony murder and other crimes in connection with the shooting death of her ex-husband, Christopher Donaldson. In September 2015, the trial court granted Hamilton’s motion for new trial on the general and other grounds. The State appeals from that decision, but we affirm it.
