CARNES, Circuit Judge:

Gary and Vicky Lewis appeal the district court’s grant of summary judgment in favor of Brunswick Corporation (“Brunswick”) on the Lewises’ state common law negligence, product liability, and fraudulent misrepresentation claims. The Lewises sued Brunswick to recover damages for the death of their daughter, who died after she fell or was thrown from a boat and then struck by a Brunswick engine propeller.
