This appeal arises from a suit for alleged defamation based on certain statements made ■ by the defendant, Woods, concerning the plaintiff, during the course of a television “talk show” broadcast on Station WBICBTV, a wholly owned subsidiary of the defendant, American Broadcasting Companies, Inc.
