On the 15th day of November, 1929, two notes were executed to the appellant, Mrs. M. J. Gowan, in the sums of $900 each. One of these notes was signed by J. H. Hawthorne, B. G. Gibson and Mabel Robinson, which note is referred to in the argument as “Note No. 1.” The other note was signed by J. H. Hawthorne and B. G. Gibson and is referred to in the argument as “Note No. 2.” Both notes were due and payable, on or before one year after date.
