The Arnoldsville Building and Loan Association, appellant, filed its bill for foreclosure in the superior court of Cook county, naming Jeannette Brooks (hereinafter designated as appellee) and certain other parties defendants. Default was taken in due course, decree of foreclosure was entered, and the property involved was sold to appellant. Subsequently appellee filed a petition under section 19 of the Chancery act for leave to appear and answer.
