WORKERS’ COMPENSATION—OFFSETS Appellee developed cardiovascular disease while working as a Deputy Sheriff for Harford County. He was awarded workers’ compensation benefits in 2005. Ten years later, appellee retired and began receiving retirement benefits as well as workers’ compensation benefits.
