The charge against this appellant was that he had in his possession spirituous, vinous, or malt liquors contrary to law. The prosecution originated in the county court, and from a conviction in that court he appealed to the circuit court, and was there tried by a jury and again convicted.

He offered no testimony, in his own behalf. The testimony of the state tended to show that several state .law enforcement officers ' were passing the house of defendant, who was at that time plowing over across the road from his house, and that when the officers got in sight he stopped his plow and went…
