Plaintiff Prudential Lines, Inc. (“Prudential”), an ocean carrier, seeks to recover monies paid in settlement of cargo damage claims made against it by the consignee of goods shipped to Rumania. Six of the seven defendants make motions pursuant to Rule 56, Fed.R.Civ.P. Defendants, Northeast Marine Terminal Co. (“Northeast”), Quin Marine Service, Inc.
