This cause comes before us on a writ of error granted to review a judgment of the circuit court of Vermilion county, which confirmed an award of the Industrial Commission in favor of the respondent, Wilhelmina Schriever, as conservatrix of Fred Schriever, incompetent, against the Shell Petroleum Corporation. The cause was first heard before an arbitrator who entered an award. On appeal to the commission, additional testimony was taken, the award was confirmed and was later reviewed by certiorari in the circuit court.
