*792Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Saratoga County (Scarano, Jr., J.), rendered December 19, 1997, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of rape in the first degree, attempted rape in the first degree and sodomy in the first degree (two counts).

Defendant is the father of two girls, born in April 1987 and November 1988. In December 1997, he was found guilty of rape in the first degree, attempted rape in the first degree and two counts of sodomy in the first degree following a jury trial.
