The first error assigned, is, that the court erred in sustaining an objection to a question ashed the witness, Henry Ott, upon the cross-examination. The witness is asked whether plaintiff did not tell him at or about the time of the levy, that he knew the property levied on belonged to Veiths, and his creditors could hold it. The plaintiff objected to this question upon the ground that it was not proper upon cross examination, as no such conversation was referred to on the direct examination.
