COFFIN, Chief Judge.
Plaintiff Kinsella commenced this action under the general maritime law to recover for his injuries allegedly caused by the unseaworthiness of the S.S. NEG-BA and the negligence of its owher, Zim Israel Navigation Co., Ltd. 1 When plaintiff closed his case, defendant moved for a directed verdict, which the court granted after oral argument.
