The appellant in this case was tried in the District Court of Gruayama and convicted of manslaughter for having killed Julio Suarez, ou the, 1st day of March, 1905. The trial took place on the last day of the same and the first day of the next month, before the court and a jury, and resulted in a verdict of guilty of manslaughter and a sentence by the court to six years’ imprisonment at hard labor in the penitentiary and payment of all costs.
