Douglas Wayne Thompson appeals the order of the district court 1 denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. Thompson currently is a federal prisoner who seeks relief from a custody detainer lodged against him by the state of Missouri. The detainer requires federal officials to transfer Thompson into the custody of Missouri officials at the completion of his federal sentence, so that Thompson may complete his parole relating to a previous murder conviction in Missouri.
