THE HONORABLE B. W. THOMAS, DISTRICT JUDGE, sitting in place of MR. JUSTICE HARRISON,

delivered the opinion of the Court.

Defendant was charged in Missoula Municipal Court with sixty parking ordinance violations dating from June 1, 1976, to April 22, 1978. Seventeen of the charges were dismissed because they were filed after the one-year statute of limitations had expired. All but two of the charges were under sections 20-132(c) (now section 10-24-030) and 20-184 (now section 10-54-070), Missoula Municipal Code (parking meter violations).
