On July 3, 1931, the appellees filed their petition in the chancery court for the Chickasawba District of Mississippi County, Arkansas, alleging that the appellants were indebted to them for an attorney’s fee which had been earned and refused to be paid. Judgment was prayed for the amount of the fee, that the same be declared a lien on certain lots in the city of Blytheville, and that, if the judgment was not paid within a time to be fixed by the court, the property be sold to satisfy the judgment. Summons was duly issued on this petition and served upon the appellants upon said July 3d.
