This is a statutory bastardy proceeding, before us upon writ of error issued upon the application of Masao Takamatsu accused, against whom verdict and judgment were rendered in the court of domestic relations. The record shows that application for the relief provided by statute Avas made under date of May 15,1931, by Josephine Silva, Avho therein charged in effect and among other things that on November 18, 1930, in Honolulu, she gave birth to a female child; that Masao Takamatsu is the father of said child, which was begotten on or…
