Webster was appointed guardian of the person and estate of his daughter, Alice Webster, a minor, by the Surrogates’ Court of the county and state of New York, where they resided, and thereupon, on application to the probate court of Dallas county, was appointed guardian of,the minor’s estate in Texas, as authorized by chapter 13, title 69, R. S. 1925 (articles 4285-4289).
