Respondent Mary Eames Lawless (hereafter respondent), a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, appeals as of right from a February 26, 1985, probate court order terminating parental rights with regard to her daughter, Lena Clelia Kreft. Although the order also terminated the parental rights of Raymond Frederick Kreft, the natural father, he has not joined in appealing the order. Moreover, the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, which intervened in the probate court action, has not taken an appeal.
