The cause of Coughran v. Matthews, the applicant for the writ here, was appealed by Matthews to the Superior Court of the county of Marin, from a judgment rendered in a Justices’ Court, and the Hon. E. B. Mahon, the judge of the Superior Court above named being disqualified to try the cause on appeal, the Hon. J. F. Sullivan, a judge of the Superior Court for the city and county of San *639Francisco, at the request of Judge Mahon, presided at the trial of the appeal above stated.
