In an action to recover damages for personal injuries, the defendant Otis Elevator Company appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (I. Aronin, J.), dated January 12, 1988, which denied its motion to change venue from Kings County to Westchester County, and in effect, granted that branch of the plaintiff’s cross motion which was to retain venue in Kings County.
Ordered that the order is reversed, on the law, with costs, the motion of the defendant Otis Elevator Company is granted, that branch of the plaintiff’s cross motion which was to retain venue in Kings County is denied…
