REYNOLDS, Chief Justice.

A jury convicted appellant Thomas Warren Abbott of the aggravated robbery for which he was indicted and, rejecting his application for probation, assessed his punishment at 13 years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections. Appellant utilizes seven grounds of error 1 to contend, respectively, that (1) the evidence is insufficient to support an aggravating element alleged in the indictment, (2-3) prejudicial evidence was erroneously admitted, and (4-7) he was denied effective assistance of trial counsel.
