Harwell was convicted of armed robbery (OCGA § 16-8-41 (a)) and aggravated assault with intent to rob (OCGA § 16-5-21 (a) (1)). He and an accomplice used a stun gun to rob the assistant manager at Harwell’s former place of employment, a restaurant. According to the victim, the robbers "stunned ... or shocked [him] down the leg maybe four times on their way out” with the money.
