CHOATE, District Judge.

This is a libel for seamen’s wages. The vessel is a British vessel belonging to Halifax, Nova Scotia. In February, 1877, she sailed on a voyage from Liverpool to Havana, thence to another port in the West Indies and thence to New York and thence to a port of discharge in Great Britain or Ireland, the voyage not to exceed eighteen (18) months. The bark arrived at New York upon this voyage on the 6th of July, 1877. The crew were regularly shipped for the voyage under written articles.
