This is an action in equity in the nature of a creditor’s bill to subject real estate to the payment of a judgment obtained by the plaintiff-appellant against William Martin, one of the defendants-appellees. The property involved is 240 acres of land in Jones county, Iowa. Plaintiff in his petition states and claims that in-May, 1932, he obtained judgment against William Martin, one of the defendants, in the sum of approximately $1,600 upon a promissory note upon which he was surety.
