The plaintiff, a resident of the Parish of Iberia, averred in the petition filed by him that he owned a certain tract of land on both sides of the public road leading from the town of New Iberia to Jeanerette, La., about three miles below the town of New Iberia, and that he was a property tax payer of the Parish of Iberia, State of Louisiana, and that one F.
