OPINION OF THE COURT

Respondent was admitted to the Bar by the Appellate Division, Second Department, on October 14, 1964. On December 7, 1982 he was convicted, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, upon his plea of guilty, of the crimes of conspiracy to defraud Citibank, N. A., in violation of sections 1014 and 1341 of title 18 of the United States Code (US Code, tit 18, § 371), and aiding and abetting in the use of the mails to effect such fraud (US Code, tit 18, §§ 1341, 1342).
