"delivered the opinion of the court.

This is an appeal from a judgment of the circuit court of Lauderdale county against the board of supervisors, in favor of the city of Meridian, for the sum of twenty-one thousand two hundred sixty-twó dollars and sixty-four cents, being one-half of .the ad valorem taxes collected on property located in said municipality, under a three-mill levy on the taxable property of g'ood roads district No. 1 of the county, for the fiscal year 1926.
